OBJECTIVE
Decorating the interior of a casino is very interesting yet complicated. On the one hand, everything here should exhale money and look magnificent and elegant. On the other hand, nothing should distract visitors from the game. That is why one of the “Metelitsa” interiors was decorated observing three key components: style, beauty and functionality.
PECULIARITIES OF THE PROJECT
To create a VIP zone for poker the architect used exclusive sliding partitions NAYADA-Hufcor. In case of need they allow dividing the hall into two isolated sectors or joining different gaming zones into one.
Another interesting solution was offered by the project authors. They created a double parking system of NAYADA-Hufcor allowing partitions to slide in opposite ways. When the partition is assembled, two of its central panels decorated with heavy golden handles can serve as entrance doors. This construction allow visitors to exit or enter the hall easily, besides, it doesn’t destroy the beauty and elegance of the whole construction.
In order the guests of the casino would not feel uncomfortable in a closed space, we used a transparent partition made of glass. The atmosphere of the third house was recreated by using air-sand matt glass, that is, glass made with the help of a technique of adding matt effect by means of applying sand blast, which hits a panel under great pressure.
The decoration of a partition itself is both functional and exclusive. The pattern imitating cards not only accentuates the purpose of the hall but also sets the tone for the players.
