Administration Office of TMX Service by NAYADA

21 / 04 / 2014

NAYADA has completed a project for the Moscow Administration Office of the TMX-Service, a company specializing in maintenance service for traction rolling stock of Russian Railways OJSC.

The office, designed by architect Ekaterina Soloveva, has a free layout with a large and bright open space. There are two meeting rooms, a reception area, a corner for playing Go, a director’s area and a mini-kitchen.

The architects had to create a respectable, and at the same time the most comfortable, austere yet cozy and atmospheric office for directors of TMX-Service.

The entire interior is made in shades of brown, combined with ash gray and metal elements – in the color scheme of private clubs of the American professional elite. The place has a good insolation, and the selected colors create an atmosphere of austerity and comfort at the same time.

When you enter, you are at once fascinated with a black glossy reception desk from NAYADA. This structure, manufactured in the LEPOTA Design Furniture Factory, is made of colored glass with inserts of bent (curved) glass. You can see hanging lamps in the reflection, and 3D panels with backlighting on the walls, exquisitely complete the composition.

Modern technology was successfully entered into a classic concise space. For example, you can control the whole office from the meeting room using an iPad built into wooden wall panels. The relevance of the interior is stressed by NAYADA-Intero doors.

Being concise but having a rich texture, panels of genuine walnut veneer of the NAYADA-Regina-Line system emphasize the respectability of the company and help create a productive business environment.

A bio-fireplace, designed by specialists of NAYADA and separating the playing area from the director’s area, creates coziness in the entire space

“It was clear what interior had to be created for this space, how it had to work and what kind of atmosphere had to prevail in this office, already during the first interview with the customer,” says project architect Ekaterina Solovyova. My task was to create maximally open and free, yet cozy space – and that was possible due to “glaring” surfaces, a glass partition, a floor-to-ceiling window along the entire space, and warm wood tones. A special sense of respectability and a pleasant business atmosphere is created by concisely selected materials: walnut wood panels, lights hovering over the table in the meeting room and reflected in the glass partitions, which visually expands the space, does not increase its weight and contrasts with the dense material of panels and leather furniture. In general, we managed to create a cozy and respectable office for the chief director and customers of the company”.
