NAYADA was the sole representative of Russia at the Salone Ufficio Exhibition – the International Biennale dedicated to improving the quality of working conditions and the creation of comfortable office space designs. Salone Ufficio this year turned into the Workplace 3.0 – as all workspaces keep changing. Modern offices are becoming places of social interchange, and meetings. Workplace 3.0 – is an exhibition with an innovative concept dedicated to the design styles and technologies used in designing workspaces.

At the I Saloni 2015, NAYADA presented new creations in the international project “12 Architects Create Furniture”. As of today, this project consists of the work of a team of eight architects, among them five Russian and three Italian masters. The main idea of this exhibition – is to show the entire history of this well-known project, which started back in 2012. Its main feature is the openness of the entire creation process – from idea to final realization. Therefore, at its booth, NAYADA captured the entire history of the creation of executive office collections – the furniture collections sold in Russia and made at NAYADA’s production facilities.

On the stand, for the first time, two new products by Italian architects were presented: The GEMSTONE Executive Desk, with its unusual metal “natural” base, created by Francesco Morena, and the TOUCH Office by Marco Piva, which will be produced with integrated control technology – the “smart office”. The PIGRECO Office by Luca Scacchetti presented at the exhibition in an unusual material – lightweight concrete, which was especially highly appreciated by all visitors to the booth. Moreover, as the author himself admitted, the PIGRECO is the best desk that he has ever created. The SPEECH Collection by Russian architects Sergey Choban and Sergey Kuznetsov was updated by new constructives and finishes. Laconic parts of the exhibition were also the main products of the NAYADA Company – own designs of partitions and doors.

The booth of the Russian manufacturer aroused great interest on the part of visitors, including guests from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, China, India, Spain, the USA, Germany, and France. Bold materials, unusual designs, provocative shapes, and modern technology of the office collections were of interest to industry professionals, as well as company executives wishing to purchase them for their own offices. The “12 Architects Create Furniture” office collections are remembered primarily their innovative and individual styles – qualities that are especially relevant for the modern workspaces of today.

The culmination of the program was the presentation of new products in NAYADA’s “12 Architects Create Furniture” project – in the creative format Work.Create.Enjoy. Together with Italian architects, participants in this project, the NAYADA Company created a real Art Expression at it booth. The authors of the furniture, whose works are represented on the stand, were asked to create emotional portraits of their office collections.

Armed with paints and brushes, Luca Scacchetti, Marco Piva, and Francesco Morena transferred to canvas the true spirit and inner energy they created in their office collections. As befits true masters, the architects approached this task thoroughly and with great enthusiasm. The result was the creation of original paintings, in which one can trace the philosophy of their furniture collections. Inspired by these art masterpieces, already after the exhibition ends, NAYADA is planning, in a similar way, to create emotional portraits of all the furniture collections in the “12 Architects Create Furniture” project.

“We are participating in the I Saloni for the fourth time already, and every time it motivates us towards new goals and objectives. For the second year in a row, we presented our “12 Architects Create Furniture” project and are getting more and more enthusiastic feedback. We are very pleased that the entire collection has elicited a good response, not only among the European public, but also among representatives from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain – the countries that today are the main interesting markets for European companies. As always, it is pleasant to surprise professionals from around the world, but perhaps, even to a greater extent, our compatriots (this time, by the way, there were also many guests from Ukraine), to show that, apparently, in Russia there are companies that can do such things. Gradually, we will be able to change the attitude towards Russian design and the quality of Russian products in the world, and at home as well. Although the offices, presented at our booth this year, were mainly the work of Italian masters, all designs and manufacturing of this furniture took place in Russia, at our offices and manufacturing facilities. In this exhibition, we placed special significance to the history of our “12 Architects Create Furniture” project – after all, the story of the creation of each office collection, and cooperation with its author is special and interesting. We work with the architects individually during all stages of the collections, showing our work to the public from beginning to end. And now we have reached the point when our office collections for executives – are unique and modern products, which are already being sold,” said Dmitry Cherepkov, Director of NAYADA.
