A feast for the eyes: NAYADA for the Ophthalmology Clinic "Kord" in Kazan

The representative office of NAYADA in Kazan joined the project dedicated to designing the interior of the new Ophthalmology Clinic "Kord".

For a long time designers together with the doctors have been considering carefully this unusual, spacious and bright interior design of the medical center. It is not only beautiful, but also convenient. Everything is made comfortable for all visitors. In the process, the clinic's premises were partially altered. All public rooms, intensive care units and operating rooms have been made accessible for patients with reduced mobility. NAYADA-Crystal glass partitions with automatic sliding doors and NAYADA-Standart framed partition with similar automatic doors also facilitate the smooth and safe movement of dim-sighted patients around the clinic.

NAYADA-Vitrage II glazed single-floor doors are installed in the offices and staff rooms, and NAYADA-Vitero glazed doors adorn the cozy wards. Fire-proof translucent one & half leaf doors with a fire resistance limit of EI-60 helped to fulfil the safety requirements of the clinic, and special decorative stainless steel overlays protect the doors' surface from possible damage.

During this project, the company used not only its traditional products, but also specially developed automatic sliding doors, lined with compact plastic, installed in the operating rooms. These sliding panels fully comply with the requirements for the finishing of health care facilities, including Clean Room Systems. All doors of the clinic are equipped with high-quality locks, handles and hinges made under the brand NAYADA. Door closers, automatic sliding system drives - made by leading European manufacturers: dormakaba and GEZE.

The dubbing of the walls and ceiling with compact plastic helped to create a pleasant atmosphere of a non-hospital space. More than 80% of the surface of walls, ceilings, window sills, radiator grilles, furniture in wards and operating units is finished with compact plastic. Warm and light tones with monochrome printing and soft wood decor with contrast rustication alternate imperceptibly. The styled reception and decorative beams also support a unified color scheme of the interior. The choice of designers for finishing was obvious, since compact plastic is distinguished by its excellent performance characteristics, hygiene, practicality, and durability.
