NAYADA created a new sales office for the Legenda Company in St. Petersburg, which was conceived by the architect Karen Smirnov. This is the third office of Legenda in the Aeroplaza Business Center in St. Petersburg. The first, a representative office, was also implemented using solutions from NAYADA.

The combination of wood paneling and many glass partitions have created feelings of comfort, while remaining within the business style required of a modern office premises.

The main objective of the project was to create several different isolated spaces, while maintaining a sense of a common, visually open, premises. The solution was found via an alternation of deaf partitions and glass parts of walls, separating several meeting rooms within the total client zone. Curved window arrangement is reflected in the walls lined with panels, veneered in the colors of “Light Oak” and “Makassar”.

NAYADA-Crystal all-glass partitions and doors perfectly reflect light in all the rooms. Matt white film in the form of vertical stripes of varying length, visually separate the meeting rooms from the hall. The atmosphere of transparency is enhanced by the fact that almost all glazing has been performed without using profiles, on point-fixed mounts.

To enhance the contrast between the deaf and transparent sections, the partition walls had to look like one piece, with no horizontal joints. This required special solutions for securing veneered panels, which had to be specifically developed for this project. Another challenging technical aspect of this project was the alignment of the cladding panels and glass, especially on the radial partition separating the main client area.

“The chief achievement obtained in working on the Legenda offices, I think we can consider the successful combination of materials, which added to the functionality of the planning solutions a sense of warmth and comfort. Achieving this would not be easy without the client’s trust, and at the same time, his commitment to quality,”says project architect Karen Smirnov (Yevgeny Gerasimov and Partners).
