A state-of-the-art automated coating line for finishing solutions was put into operation at NAYADA’s LEPOTA designer furniture factory.
The operational cycle relies on the UV drying technology helping to achieve high capacity rates. The line is used to apply various types of coating on flat surfaces (e.g. furniture parts, doors, wall panels).
The new line comprises a sanding machine and three roller mills with different capabilities for applying coating materials. A UV dryer is installed after each of the roller mills for the solidification of finishing.
The mills used to apply finish layers operate within an insulated chamber to prevent the occurrence of dust on the surface.
Moreover, the coating shop is equipped with a pressure system to reduce dust circulation at the premises.
The key features of the new line include:
- Fast application: the new line’s output is up to 1,500 sq. m. per shift!
- Coating applied on flat surfaces of chipboard, medium density fibreboard, gypsum plasterboard, gypsum chipboard
- All finishing options available, such as transparent, matt or glossy finish, including high gloss

- Use of the most advanced and eco-friendly coating materials with top wear-resistant properties
The line operates with UV-dried materials (UV drying), which helps to deliver the end product in just two cycles of the line without any additional transit in the shop. Additional transit always increases the risk of damage, and, where expensive glossy coatings are concerned, with the very high restoration costs involved, the total unit cost is brought down significantly.
NAYADA’s new line includes three roller mills with different capabilities for applying different layers of coating materials. The mills used to apply finish layers operate in an insulated chamber with a pressure system to prevent the occurrence of dirt and dust inside.
